Dr. Shiju Baburaj is from India who was born and raised in Al-ain, UAE.  He graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University, India in 2002 and earned his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics from MGR University Chennai, India in the year 2006. With over 14 years of experience of which 11 years in the UAE under his belt. Dr Raj specializes in the latest in the field of Orthodontics focusing on a patient centered approach.Dr. Shiju actively participates in continuous education and has completed a number of courses on Skeletal Anchorage Micro-Implant Anchorage Hands-On Course, Segmental Arch Technique Mechanics and Functional Occlusion Percepts.

He has been a part of several dental and orthodontic conferences in UAE and abroad. 

He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Indian Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Shiju specializes in treating children with preventive and interceptive orthodontics, and adults with invisible and surgical orthodontics.

He specializes in fixed orthodontic treatments using the latest self-ligating systems such as   the Damon system and the patient customized Insignia system. His extensive use of Micro implants in combination with Orthodontics helps to treat complex orthognathic cases as well

He is a certified provider of Invisalign®, who are the pioneers in clear aligners and with his shift in practice towards digital dentisty ,providing the option of treating all patients with Clear Aligners have never been more easier. Having been born and raised in Al-ain, he additionally is very accustomed with the Local customs and speaks fluent Arabic thereby having an excellent rapport and communicative skills with all the patients.
